Following Gary O’Neil’s departure to Ipswich, Strasbourg initiated a search for a new manager, marking their third appointment in just eight months.
The Alsatian club officially announced the hiring of Hugo Oliveira, a 47-year-old Portuguese coach joining from FC Famalicão, on Sunday evening.
Hugo Oliveira, who previously served as an assistant to Marco Silva at Fulham, Everton, Hull City, and Watford, now begins his second stint as a head coach in Ligue 1.
