Inter and Lazio Set to Face Off in Supercoppa Italiana Final Before Christmas

Recent modifications to the Supercoppa format involved a mini-tournament featuring four Serie A teams based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the last three seasons. This tournament included the winners and runners-up of Serie A and the Coppa Italia from 2023 to 2025.
The setup for the Supercoppa will now revert to its simpler form, with only two teams participating: Inter, who clinched both the Serie A and Coppa Italia titles last season, and Lazio, the domestic cup’s runners-up.
According to Sport Mediaset, the likely dates for the final are Tuesday, December 22, 2026, or the following day, Wednesday, December 23.
The final round of the Serie A calendar for 2026 will occur over the weekend of December 19, with the league set to resume on January 2, 2027.
