Radek Vitek Aims for Quick Resolution on Future as Manchester United Exit Looms
Manchester United goalkeeper Radek Vitek expresses his desire to resolve his future swiftly as he seeks a move away from Old Trafford.
After successful loan spells at Accrington Stanley and within the Austrian Bundesliga, Vitek distinguished himself at Bristol City last season, collecting three club player of the year awards.

While many United fans hoped this would mean a return to the club as a backup to first-choice goalkeeper Senne Lammens this season, that option was never considered.
Expectations were high that Vitek would secure a new club before the pre-season commenced.
As of now, that hasn’t materialized, and the Czech goalkeeper kept a clean sheet during the second half of the 1-0 loss to Wrexham in Helsinki.
It remains uncertain whether Vitek will participate on 24 July when United travels to Norway to face Rosenborg.
Nonetheless, he is determined that his current situation is merely temporary.
“I’m ready to go somewhere again and hopefully be number one,” he stated.

When asked if that would involve another loan move or a permanent transfer, Vitek replied: “I’m ready for both, to be fair. It depends on what the club wants and also on the options.
“There have been a few interests on the table. We’re hoping to choose the best one and hopefully it will happen soon.”
Speaking to BBC Sport in March, Vitek acknowledged that his primary aim is to play regularly.
Nothing has changed.
“My mind is the same,” he noted. “I want to play every week, and that’s the goal for next season.”
Minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has previously voiced concerns regarding United’s struggles to generate significant income through the sale of academy players.

They might achieve a breakthrough with Vitek, which is why a permanent transfer remains a possibility despite the goalkeeper having two years left on his contract, rather than another loan deal.
Nonetheless, any agreement would likely entail a significant sell-on clause and a buy-back option.
