This marks Bissell’s return to Bristol City for a second time. She previously played for the club during the 2020/2021 season, making 18 appearances in all competitions before balancing her football career with her studies in the United States.
Throughout her career, Bissell has also played for Manchester City and Everton, alongside her recent stints at Bristol City and Charlton Athletic.
On the international front, Bissell has represented England at the youth level, specifically competing with the Lionesses at Under-19.
Upon securing her return to Bristol City, Bissell expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I’m super-excited to be here, it’s a club with massive ambition, and you can really see the direction they’re wanting to push, so to be a part of that makes me really excited for the season ahead.”
Bissell is the fifth signing for Bristol City in the summer transfer window.
