Bryan Cristante, who scored during the first half against Udinese, spoke to DAZN about the upcoming match, emphasizing that despite Manchester United’s recent struggles, they remain a formidable opponent. He stated, “Yes, but it’s still Manchester United. They’re a strong team with a lot of quality players. It will be very difficult to play at their home ground, because they’ll want to do well and certainly bounce back.”
Cristante continued, “But we’ll go there and try to bring it home, as we always do. We’re taking it game by game, and clearly getting a positive result would be crucial for our Champions League position.”
Regarding Roma’s performance against Udinese, Cristante expressed pride in the team’s ability to score consistently, saying, “Yes, definitely. We’re scoring a lot and creating a lot, and that’s very important. It’s clear that if you score, it’s easier to win. So, the longer we can keep this up, the better.”
Cristante was also questioned about Roma’s potential to maintain their current level of performance until the end of the season. He replied, “We’re trying, of course. It’s difficult; there are so many games and so many strong teams. But if we play like this, we have a chance. We have to compete to stay there as long as possible. It’s not easy; there’s so much at stake, but as long as we’re there, we’ll do everything we can to be there.”
In the Champions League, Roma’s recent record includes one win in three matches, highlighted by a strong performance against Real Madrid, although they suffered a late defeat. Meanwhile, Manchester United has only secured two wins across all competitions, presenting a stark contrast to Roma’s recent form.
