Headline: Roma Shifts Focus to Champions League Ahead of Match Against Struggling Manchester United
After securing a commanding 2-5 victory over Udinese, Roma has turned its attention to the Champions League. The Giallorossi are set to face Manchester United away tomorrow, a team that has struggled significantly, failing to earn three points since September 10th, with six losses and three draws in their last nine fixtures.
Yesterday, the Roma squad held a recovery session at Udinese’s training facility, opting not to return to Rome. Following this, the team engaged in a light training exercise before departing for England. Coach Gian Piero Gasperini will address reporters today at 6:20 PM (Italian time). However, he will still be without key players Dybala, Svilar, and Koné for the upcoming match.
In their most recent outing at Udine, both Lulli and Mancini remained on the bench for Roma. Lulli made a brief appearance in the 79th minute, while Mancini played the full match alongside Gasperini. According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Roma coach plans to start both players in the encounter against Manchester United, marking a notable moment for Lulli as it would be his debut in the Champions League.
